I discovered that there’s already a good project about this: Kemu.
It is written in Ruby and it’s already nice, but you can tell it’s a personal need project. I’ve contacted the main (only one for now) developer and he’s glad to accept my ideas and (when I’ll be albe) code.
Kemu already does most of the things I had/have in mind for KVMMS and Martin and I share lot of ideas about it. So I think that I’ll join forces with him instead of trying to reinvent the wheel ;)

KVMMS
KVMMS (Kernel Virtual Machine Management System) will be a GUI for KVM pretty much like the already existing Red Hat’s Virt Manager but in Qt and for KDE only.
There’s already an existing project on kde-apps with the same name but it seems abandoned. I might contact the author once I’ll start coding it.
Stay tuned, I might produce some code before the 2012 End of the World. :P
